The Ectochip project

By 2030, endometrial cancer will be the fourth leading cause of cancer death among women. It therefore represents a major public health issue. ECTOCHIP is a transdisciplinary project combining clinical medicine, biology, and physics, and includes a strong science-and-society component.

The goal of these specialists is to create an experimental model of endometrial cancer—that is, to grow and assemble diseased cells on a laboratory bench just as they would in a patient—in order to test innovative treatments.
