One Health in action

Sharing perspectives, transforming practices across territories

Lyon will host the One Health Summit on 7 April 2026. This event will be an opportunity to bring together, for the first time, Heads of State and Government from around the world, Heads of International and Regional Organizations, parliamentarians, representatives of the scientific and academic community, the private sector, civil society, local authorities and youth to accelerate the implementation of the “One Health” approach.

SHAPE-Med@Lyon has decided to partner with the One Health Summit by organising a scientific conference on 8 April 2026 entitled ‘One Health in action: sharing perspectives, transforming practices across territories’. The aim of this event is to highlight One Health initiatives in research, training and innovation within the Lyon and Saint-Étienne ecosystem. The conference will conclude with a plenary lecture by Serge Morand, CNRS Research Director and French representative to the OHHLEP (FAO-WOAH-WHO-UNEP).

  • Simultaneous translation of the sessions will be provided in English.
  • The event will be on-site only, but the sessions will be recorded and made available on the SHAPE-Med@Lyon website.
